The Bard Magic 3 Hydrophilic has an ultra-soft outer layer designed to help maximize comfort, a firm middle layer for easy handling, and a pliable innermost layer for easy navigation. It is packaged with its own sterile water packet wherein immediate hydration creates a virtually friction-free surface and there is also a comfort-designed tapered tip with four comfort-sized drainage eyes. This environmentally conscious design does not contain DEHP and/or phthalates.
The Bard Magic 3 Hydrophilic female length catheter, with a comfort-designed tapered tip and four comfort-sized drainage eyes, is designed to glide easily and comfortably through the urinary tract. Unique CleanGlide™ technology maintains the catheter in a hydrated state so that it is ready to go out of the package. It has an ultra-soft outer layer designed to help maximize comfort, a firm middle layer for easy handling, and a pliable innermost layer for easy navigation. With a robust, ergonomically designed handle for better control, that can easily be connected to a collection device, this product is designed to minimize the risk of contamination by enabling the user to hold the catheter without touching the catheter shaft. The Bard Intermittent Touchless Kit contains a pre-lubricated red-rubber catheter with finger guide, and is available in a 550cc or 1100cc collection bag with built-in sample/drainage port. This kit comes with accessories to manage the risk of infection, including 2 gloves not made with natural rubber latex, povidone iodine swabs, and an underpad.
